In February 2019 my niece, Naomi, was diagnosed with Leukemia. Since then, her body and spirit have been kicking the crap out of cancer with a resolve that most of us can only imagine. With the help of her parents (my sister and brother-in-law), brothers, grandparents, extended family, friends, and the literal lifesavers at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, I'm thrilled to say...
Naomi has kicked cancer's honeybuns!!
To celebrate, my family is doing what we can to raise money and awareness for the Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia. Naomi's journey was long and difficult but there was a measure of comfort in knowing that CHOP had a detailed treatment plan for every step of the way. That was only possible through research, which is only possible with funding.
Naomi's fight has ended and she's excited to start Kindergarten this month! But for so many other children, the fight is just beginning. Please join me in donating to CHOP so their journey has every chance to succeed as Naomi's has.
