No Thanks, I Don't Want My Wedding Ring Back.

Sometimes, people just want to leave the past in the past.

That's the case in this Daily Mail story for a woman whose wedding ring was found by Steve Andrews. Steve was metal detecting in St. Aubin's Bay, Jersey, and found a wedding ring that dated back to 1989. After a bit of detective work, he tracked down the owner but the lady wasn't thrilled about his discovery. Steve said that she told him to "put it back in the sea" because the marriage lead to a nasty divorce and that's why she threw it in the water in the first place. Whomp whomp.
