Taking your phone on a roller coaster is already a bad idea, but even worse now with the new iPhone 14's Crash Detection feature.
CNET is reporting that multiple amusement parks have had emergency personnel show up because the iPhone automatically dialed 911, thinking it was a car crash. It's also a feature that is in the new Apple Watch. The best thing to do is to not take your phone or watch on a roller coaster, or you can disable the Crash Detection feature. Airplane mode will also work and just shut everything off.
