Just before Oasis was supposed to take the stage at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris in 2009, the band broke up. Of course there have been differing sides of the story from Liam and Noel Gallagher, so who knows exactly actually is the true version. One thing that did happen that night is that Noel's Gibson ES-355 was broken and that was one of the tipping points in the end of Oasis. Now, that infamous guitar is going up for auction!
Artpèges is selling the fully restored guitar on May 17th, and it will go for big dollars. The estimate is that it will sell for over $500,000. The Gibson ES-355 was one of Noel's favorites and was featured in the video for "Don't Look Back In Anger"!
