We've all worked at crappy jobs for crappy people, and seeing this makes me happy.
Electrician Amber shared on Reddit how she quit her job, giving her boss a condolences card!
About the job, she posted this:
"I anticipate my a**hole boss is going to tell me to leave on the spot. That's usually what he does when people try to quit. My new company already said I can start immediately. My current company doesn't want to pay s**t AND requires you to provide all your own tools, including ladders, safety equipment, even your own saw blades and drill bits! So my boss f**ks up and forgets to add a receptacle, now I have to burn my blade I bought with my own money to fix his mistake? And they wonder why they can't keep help.
Edit: I went to the shop and gave him the card this morning. He read it aloud, gave a stank face, and just said "ok". He didn't tell me to leave so that means he wants me to work out my two weeks. He also didn't ask why I'm leaving."
Bravo, Amber!!!
