For the 2nd year, Flea and the folks at the Silverlake Conservatory of Music are inviting everyone to join their 5K Funk Run as a virtual event. It's a great way to help out the school and all of the great work that they do, teaching music to the kids in the community.
I did the run last year and, even though I did it on the treadmill, it was still a lot of fun and cool to know that it was helping future musical superstars!
