The Red Hot Chili Peppers have been Grammy winners 3 times now: in 1993 with "Give It Away" for Best Hard Rock Performance, in 2007 for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal for "Dani California" and 2007 with 'Stadium Arcadium' getting Best Rock Album. There could be another one coming to the RHCP family next year.
Flea's audiobook version of 'Acid For The Children' is eligible for Best Spoken Word Album. If he were to win, Flea would join 3 U.S. Presidents (Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama), Former First Ladies Hillary Clinton and Michele Obama, Maya Angelou, Christopher Reeve, Michael J. Fox, Betty White and many others as winners in the Best Spoken Word Album category. That is very elite company!!!
