What started as an experiment has turned into a song for our quarantined coronavirus world!
Judah Akers of Judah & The Lion has his new band Pink Laundry and he wanted to try to write a song on Instagram Live in one hour. That's a pretty ambitious goal and he did it. One week later, the song "2020 Won" is out, along with a video.
"Life has been wild for all of us over the last few months. The unknowns, the health, the economy, the lifestyles, LIVE MUSIC etc. has been essentially turned upside down. ⠀
I had this weird idea to try and write a song about quarantine and Covid- 19 —- what I’ve been going through on Instagram live. Transparently was a bit nervous to write but the song turned out really cool and had so much fun with it. ⠀
Trying to take that same energy or spontaneity I wanted to try and release it within the week. So a day late there but with some help from fellow quarantine friends. Here’s our new song “2020 Won”."
