Maybe if Tide Pods look different, people won't eat them. That's the thought process of two lawmakers in New York, State Senator Brad Hoylman and Assemblywoman Aravella Simotas. They think that if Tide Pods didn't look so much like candy, people wouldn't want to eat them. Seriously.
People are eating them because they want to be internet famous. They want clicks on their Instagram video. They want more Snapchat followers. They are stupid and will continue to eat Tide Pods, no matter what they look like.
How about this. Put a warning on the packages that says "DON'T BE A DUMBASS AND EAT THESE. THEY ARE FOR WASHING CLOTHES, NOT YOUR STUPIDITY!"
