70% Of Us Are Guilty Of Phubbing

If you're in a relationship, you've probably been guilty of phubbing. Phubbing is the act of snubbing your partner in favor of your phone.

This all comes from a study by Baylor University, saying that 70% of people will ignore our partners and look at what's happening on our phone screens. It mainly happens when we are talking to each other and, if our phone rings or buzzes, we will pick it up to check and interrupt the conversation.

In fact, relationships suffer because of phubbing and it is actually causing people to break up. We need to be better about this and stop the phubbing!

You can read the full report from Baylor University here.

As a side note, I have a question. Is there a term for ignoring your partner when you're playing video games? I will be the first to admit my guilt there... Vubbing? Vibbing? Sleeping on the couch at night? Something along those lines.
