Last night was one of the best shows I've ever seen at the Verizon Center when the Red Hot Chili Peppers took the stage and blew everyone away! The music, the light show, the vibe, it all was working so well together for a fantastic night.
Before the music happened, I got to sit down with Flea for a few minutes and catch up on what's been happening. We talked about how it's all or nothing on stage for the Chili Peppers, generations of fans supporting the band, the recovery from his snowboarding accident, starting songs for a new fan of the band, the Silverlake Conservatory of Music and confusion about how he's actually not a member of Green Day.
Thanks for spending a few minutes with me, Flea. And please, take a few minutes to see the great work that the Silverlake Conservatory of Music is doing to keep music alive! Click here.
And here are a few things from the show last night. The moving lights on the ceiling were incredible! I can't even imagine how much work goes into putting that together every night.
