My wife and I made an impromptu plan to hang out at her parent's place and stay there for the night. No problem as it is something we do on a regular basis. Yeah, except for one thing...we took her car and all of the tools I need to an airshift on DC101 are in my car, Natasha, which was parked in Lorton, VA.
So with that said, I woke up in Laurel (the Howard County part), drove to our house in Lorton, VA to pick up Natasha and then drove to the DC101 Studio in Rockville. I started my commute around 615a, filled her car up with gas and eventually got to Rockville via Lorton at 7:59a to start my 8am airshift!
What should have only been 24 miles in 28 minutes from Laurel to Rockville turned into 80 miles in 90 minutes from Laurel to Lorton to Rockvilled. But I love being in the studio so it is totally worth it!!! You ever done something like that, would love to hear about it!
Here is a map of my commute this morning...
