So I guess the 80s are back again because we just got a stellar cover of one of my favorite songs from back in the day.
AWOLNATION dropped their version of Madonna's 1984 hit "Material Girl" and it is SOLID.
Not only is it a great earworm that pays homage to the original, the band even recruited 3 time Grammy nominated Taylor Hanson to record vocals on it! Taylor is the lead singer of the band Hanson with his brothers Isaac and Zac, who had a massive hit in 1997 with "MmmBop".
Maybe we could get AWOLNATION to cover that one too? How cool would it be to hear Aaron Bruno sing that?
