With mask mandates being lifted across the country, more and more people aren't wearing them.
However, no one is stopping people from continuing to wear them. Although SOME people may give you their opinion if you ARE wearing one.
Cue Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
According to Vanity Fair:
Appearing at a press conference at the University of South Florida on Wednesday, Ron DeSantis scolded a bunch of students behind him for wearing masks. “You do not have to wear those masks,” he said angrily. “I mean, please take them off. Honestly, it’s not doing anything and we’ve gotta stop with this COVID theater. So if you want to wear it, fine, but this is ridiculous.”
Most of the students kept their cool and just continued to stand behind the Governor as he made his speech.
