Hear Charlie Watts isolated drums on Rolling Stones “Honky Tonk Women”

With the passing of Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts, I rediscovered one of the coolest pieces of Charlie history.

Even though he was overshadowed by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, we still honor this amazing musician.

You can hear his great isolated drums on the band’s classic song “Honky Tonk Women”.

Originally trained as a graphic artist, he started playing drums in London’s rhythm and blues clubs. Where he met Brian Jones, Mick Jagger, and Keith Richards. In January 1963, he joined their fledgling group, the Rolling Stones, as drummer.

Charlie will be missed greatly, so let's pay tribute to one of the greatest drummers of all time!
