Lorde says it’s insulting for people to say she “made a Jack Antonoff record.” To those who think that’s what her latest album, “Solar Power” is, they’re sadly mistaken.
"I haven’t made a Jack Antonoff record. I’ve made a Lorde record and he’s helped me make it and very much deferred to me on production and arrangement. Jack would agree with this. To give him that amount of credit is frankly insulting,”says the 24-year-old.
Antonoff has worked with Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey, for which many parallels can be drawn musically, Lorde doesn’t apologize for certain Jack“hallmarks”that she likes and others she didn’t and had to “beat out”of the work the musicians did together.
