There are reports that Jeopardy! is in negotiations to sign Mike Richards as the next permanent host.

As Variety says, he is in "advanced negotiations to take over the quiz show."
He's been a producer ofJeopardy!, The Price is Right, Let's Make a Deal, andWheel of Fortune.
He's also been nominated for 17 Daytime Emmys and has won three.
