A Texas woman is facing charges for allegedly shooting a nail salon owner because her mani-pedi was too expensive.
Police say Joana Vara and her sister each got a manicure and pedicure at the Houston salon, but then got mad the owner because they were unhappy with the price of the services.
Witnesses say Vara shot the owner with a handgun.
The victim was airlifted from the scene in critical but stable condition.
Vara was arrested last week and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
