I can't imagine what it's like to be in the middle of a stampede.
Most of us have been at a crowded concert or a store on Black Friday. However, nothing can compare to what happened at the Louisiana Crawfish Festival.
According to WGNO:
On Monday afternoon, St. Bernard Sheriff James Pohlmann held a press conference to discuss the incident on Saturday, at the Louisiana Crawfish Festival.
Sheriff Pohlmann further described the incident as a stampede. Some festivalgoers reported that shots were fired, but police have not been able to confirm this.
As a result of the stampede, two people were hospitalized, but have since been released.
Additionally, Sheriff Pohlmann said after the stampede, deputies had to assist with returning multiple missing children to their parents.
