Somebody get Glenn Close to DC IMMEDIATELY!
Glenn Close channeled her inner DC dancing Da Butt at the 93 annual Academy Awards Sunday (4/25) night...and it was amazing! The actress was also nominated for her eighth Oscar, but lost out in the Best Actress in a Supporting Role category to Youn Yuh-Jung.
Da Butt, by Go Go band E.U. (Experience Unlimited) was a MASSIVE hit back in 1989 and basically put Go Go into the mainstream. A lot of people will agree that Go Go is THE music of Washington DC.
Glenn, if you ever wanna come to the District and show off your dancing moves, we sure won't mind one bit!
