Two new TV ads feature former U.S. presidents and first ladies urging Americans to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
One of the spots shows images of former presidents Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama being vaccinated.
First ladies Rosalynn Carter, Hillary Clinton, Laura Bush, and Michelle Obama are also shown getting the shot.
In one of the ads, President Bush says, "In order to get rid of this pandemic, it's important for our fellow citizens to get vaccinated. So roll up your sleeve and do your part."
Former President Donald Trump and former first lady Melania Trump are not part of the campaign. Trump's office declined to comment.
