The poll was conducted by Hill-HarrisX.
Another poll by Morning Consult found Biden's initial approval rating is higher than former President Donald Trump's highest-ever rating.
In this survey, Biden got a 56% approval rating, while 34% of respondents disapproved.
The highest approval rating for Trump during his presidency, according to Morning Consult, was 52% in March 2017.
