Several minority owners of the Washington Redskins are looking to sell their stake in the team amid the current nickname controversy, according to reports.
According to theWashington Post, three partners who own a combined 40 percent of the team are "not happy" with majority owner Dan Snyder and are looking to sell.
Last week, the team promised a "thorough review" of its nickname, which has long been criticized as racist. The announcement came after increased pressure from sponsors like Nike, Pepsi, and FedEx.
