The nightmare that was the Washington Redskins 2019 season has finally come to an end. With that, today is commonly known as Black Monday in the NFL. That is where coaches, team presidents, and general managers lose their job after an unsuccessful tenure.
So, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Burgundy & Gold have relived President Bruce Allen of his duties after a 10 year stint. According to other sources, after firing head coach Jay Gruden earlier this season, they will also be hiring former Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera to fill that role in 2020. No official word on that yet.
Could this FINALLY be the turnaround Skins fans have been waiting for? Some say not as long as Dan Snyder still owns the team.
No word on who will be Allen's replacement.
