A mascot is often seen as a wuss compared to the "real athletes" but this giant polar bear is proof the men and women in novelty suits are tough nuggets.
I have some experience as a mascot. When I was 16, I dressed up as a sub shop sandwich mascot. It was not easy, it was not fun, and I had kids pushing me over at LEAST twice and hour.
I give credit to this polar bear though. Looks like they hung in there and have no become a viral star because of it.
