Washington Nationals Win First World Series in Franchise History!

Congratulations are in order for our very own Washington Nationals! They did the unthinkable and "Finished The Fight" by winning their first World Series title in franchise history!

After being down for most of the game, the Nats bats came alive in the top of the 7th inning when Anthony Rendon hit a solo home run to cut the Astros lead in half. Then, after sending the next batter to 1st, Howie Kendrick came up to bat with a home run that hit the foul pole and gave the Nationals the lead at 3-2

The wheels were coming off the Astros quickly. In the top of the 8th inning, the young superstar Juan Soto had a RBI single that gave the Nats the lead at 4-2!

In the top of the 9th, Adam Eaton came up clutch as he hit a 2 run RBI to then give the Nationals a 6-2 lead

Washington's bullpen did their job as Patrick Corbin and Daniel Hudson did what they needed to do to close out Game 7 and bring a World Series title BACK to The District after 95 years!!
