This is really a shame. Dude just wanted to go out with his new wife, relax, and partake in some adult beverages. Unfortunately, a restaurant in Philadelphia denied him the fun he wanted to have because they mistakenly thought he was too inebriated. Turns out, he had the deadly disease known as ALS.
A widely shared social media video showed a confrontation at a Northeast Philadelphia restaurant. A man claims he was denied a drink because employees mistook his disease for drunkenness.
The man has ALS, which affects voluntary muscle movement and speech, but the restaurant says it wasn’t trying to discriminate and it has a legitimate reason for the denial.
At the restaurant, the waiter thought Hare’s slurs were from him being drunk, even though he did not have any drinks that night.
Such a shame to hear this happen.
