As most people would, a Florida woman who turned on her car's air conditioner Friday expected cool air to come out of the vents. But she didn't expect a long snake to come slithering out, too.
The creepy critter, later identified as a harmless corn snake, apparently didn't like the cool air it found itself surrounded by and was looking for a warmer climate. But it didn't move as quickly as the scared motorist, who high-tailed it out of her car and called animal control officials. They captured the snake and released it back into the wild the following day.
Corn snakes are native to the southeastern and central U.S.
