A pair of terrified 10-year-old girls having a sleepover in California woke up to find themselves being touched inappropriately by a naked stranger.
Timothy Jay Picard, 26, has been taken into custody in connection with the break-in, which occurred last weekend in the Fresno suburb of Clovis, police say. After being woken up by the nude intruder, the girls began hitting and kicking him, apparently scaring him off. Picard left through the bedroom window he'd entered through, according to his arrest report. There's no word on whether he left his clothes behind, or if he'd undressed before entering the room.
Police Chief Matt Basgall says investigators were able to track down Picard after "examining evidence and interviewing witnesses." He's been charged with committing lewd and lascivious acts with a minor under 14, first-degree burglary and probation violation.
