Generally, symphony performances don't end in a WWE style melee, but that's exactly how Morrissey's Saturday night show wrapped.
For some reason, concertgoers at the San Diego Symphony Hall rushed the stage before the encore, with one attendee punching the singer in the face.
The attacker was led away in a chokehold, while Morrissey didn't return. TMZ reports that it is unknown if the assailant was arrested.
Morrissey will normally hold a post-show meet-and-greet, but this time he left without any announcement. Waiting fans eventually shuffled out the doors.
Are you surprised that security didn't get involved sooner? Is security to blame for the attack?
