It's everyone's trick-or-treating nightmare and it came true for a 12-year-old girl from Warsaw, Missouri, who bit into a piece of Halloween candy and found a sharp needle inside.
The local police posted a picture of the half-eaten Kit Kat bar with the point of a sewing needle sticking out.
Police say they don't know who was responsible for the needle but called whoever it was a "sick demented individual" and encouraged parents to check their children's candy.
