Sports mascots have a tendency to be goofy at times but the mascot for the Colorado Buffaloes may have gone a little too far for his own liking.
A mishap with a t-shirt cannon led to "Chip" injuring his groin during the Buffaloes weekend win over New Hampshire. Chip is the mascot for the Buffaloes.
The injury to Chip was so bad that he was actually carted off the field with medical personnel by his side. But don't worry, he would return later on.
