Dolores O'Riordan died last January and an investigation in London has sadly uncovered the cause. The Cranberries frontwoman was found drowned in a bathtub while intoxicated by alcohol.
Coroner Shirley Radcliffe says while the singer had been diagnosed with bipolar affective disorder, suicide has been ruled out.
"There is no evidence that this was anything other than an accident, no evidence that it was an intentional act," Radcliffe reveals and has listed the official cause of death as "drowning and alcohol intoxication."
O'Riordan would have celebrated her 47th birthday on Thursday (9/6)
