Some people use their garages to park cars. Others to store stuff. But one woman discovered her grandmother was doing a bit of both.
The Reddit user recounted her story on the site, saying she felt like an archaeologist as she discovered that her grandmother had been hiding several exotic vintage sports cars in her garage.
The three cars, a white 1981 Lamborghini Countach, a Ferrari 308 and MG T, were purchased by her late grandfather for his defunct exotic car rental business and sat covered for 15 years.
While the cars are in rough shape, fully restored they could be worth well over $500,000.
Have you uncovered any family heirlooms? Are they worth anything to people outside the family? What did you find?
