If standing in your living room during the national anthem is something you like doing, you won't be seeing in on Monday Night Football.
New ESPN president Jimmy Pitaro says that the network does not plan to televise the national anthem as part of its Monday Night Football broadcasts this season.
He pointed out that the network has not previously shown the national anthem during its Monday Night Football broadcasts and does not have plans to change, at least, not in the immediate future.
Do you think this is a smart decision by the network? Does it matter anyway since the possible controversy that may arise from protesting the anthem will be televised via social media in all likely hood?
