Like many rock stars, Social Distortion frontman Mike Ness is not a fan of President Trump. But Ness might have gotten carried away when he allegedly punched a Trump supporter in the middle of a concert.
A Trump-supporting fan who didn't appreciate Ness's political commentary spent two songs pointing a middle finger at the stage. Then while the band was playing "Ring of Fire, Ness removed his guitar and jumped into the crowd and started punching the fan.
That fan, Tim Hildebrand, says he suffered two black eyes, a busted lip, and a concussion in the attack. Sacramento Police say they're investigating the incident.
Are political tensions making everyone crazy? Should a certain amount of chaos be expected at a punk rock show? Should Ness face charges?
