If you were planning to take lots of pictures at Jack White's shows this November, you can forget it. The singer is banning devices on his upcoming tour.
According to the tour announcement, White wants fans to "experience music and our shared love of it IN PERSON," rather than have their faces buried in their phones.
The nine-city Canadian leg of his Boarding House Reach world tour will require attendees to use Yondr pouches, which renders their phones "and other photo or video-capturing gizmos" unusable until removed by staff.
White isn't the only artist making this demand. Comedian Dave Chappelle and musicians Alicia Keys, Shawn Mendes and Ariana Grande are also asking fans to do the same.
