An enterprising 7-year-old who started a lemonade stand just learned a harsh lesson about the business world - you can't fight city hall.
A New York Department of Health employee shut down young Brendan Mulvaney's lemonade stand, which he's been operating for the past three summers.
Mulvaney hoped to earn enough money to pay for a trip to Disneyland, but his stand was shut down because Brendan didn't have a permit.
Brendan, however, did get a visit from a local Senator who wants to pass legislation that would allow children to run their own lemonade stands.
Did you ever run a lemonade stand or other business as a kid? Ever run into any issues?
