I've always likened bad sex to pizza. Even when it's bad, it's still good. But some men can become sad after a romp and scientists have a name for the reason why.
Australian researchers found that some men also suffer from the condition Postcoital Dysphoria (PCD), which can leave them feeling sad, tearful, or even irritable after sex.
The results from the Queensland University of Technology study showed that 41 percent of male participants reported experiencing PCD at some point in their lifetime, with 20 percent experiencing it that month. Another 3 to 4 percent feel it all the time.
PCD has been found in women, but this study was the first time anyone looked at men.
