Rocker and second amendment supporter Ted Nugent had his management inform Virginia concert goers that their gun rights stop at the gate. Fans were told no guns would be allowed inside the Berglund Performing Arts Theater.
The venue said Nugent's management made the call, since as a city owned property they couldn't keep guns out.
Lines formed outside as security preformed pat downs and asked anyone with a gun to take the firearm back to their car.
For the week leading up to the show, anti-gun violence advocate Andy Parker, father of a local reporter who was gunned down on live TV, called for a boycott of the show.
Should there be a weapons ban at all shows? Is Nugent being a hypocrite?
