A former Air Force veteran says he was forced to sell his home after his HOA fined him for hanging an American flag.
Larry Murphree says he hung the flag in a flower pot on his porch. He got a violation letter saying the flag was an "unauthorized object" and he needed to take it down.
Murphree sats the HOA fined him $100 a day and eventually were able to get a lien on property. Now he's suing the HOA for $1 million.
Have you ever dealt with a Homeowner's Association? Do they go too far? How could someone go after a veteran for displaying a flag?
