The rock world was shocked and saddened by the news of Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul's passing on Friday night. Paul died in his sleep while at his Las Vegas home.
Now more is starting to emerge about his passing with TMZ reporting that Paul will be turned over to the medical examiner to determine an official cause of death.
Meanwhile The Las Vegas Review-Journal says that sources who knew Paul believe that he suffered a "major heart attack".
The plan is to fly Paul's body back to his home state of Texas where he will be buried along side his mother and brother.
