Rockers React To Vinnie Paul's Death

The death of legendary Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul led to a huge outpouring from Paul's fellow rockers over the weekend.

Slash called Paul "one of the warmest people I knew" while fellow GN'R member Duff McKagan tweeted "You will be missed bro..."

KISS's Paul Stanley said Vinnie, who grew up a huge KISS fan, was "always front and center at all KISS shows".  Megadeath's Dave Mustaine tweeted "Another metal hero taken too soon.  Say hello to Daryl for me."

Meanwhile, bands like Volbeat, Puddle of Mudd, and Poison dedicated songs to Vinnie from the stage.

Is Pantera one of the most influential metal bands of all time?  Are you surprised by the widespread reaction to Paul's death?
