It was teased for weeks and finally viewers on Thursday night were treated to the most famous singer to ever hop into the "Carpool Karaoke" seat: Sir Paul McCartney.
The former Beatle joined The Late Late Showhost James Corden to belt out his classics "Drive My Car" and "Let It Be" while driving around McCartney's hometown of Liverpool.
Corden couldn't believe that Sir Paul agreed to appear on the show, telling USA Today, "You're talking about possibly the most famous person in the world. He's the most respected musician on the planet, and that he would come to do a segment on our show is mind-blowing to me."
Egypt Station, McCartney's 17th solo album, is set to be released this fall.
