It's almost a Nirvana reunion. Sorta. When the Foo Fighters hit the stage in Seattle this summer, a familiar face will be seen beforehand.
Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic and his band Giants in the Trees are set to open the September 1st Safeco Field show.
Giants in the Trees formed through its member's involvement on environmental issues and released their first single "Sasquatch" last summer.
And for a repeat reunion of sorts, when Foo Fighters play the second annual Cal Jam Festival in San Bernardino, California on October 6th, Novoselic and company will be on hand to open again.
Would you like to see Novoselic join Dave Grohl and Pat Smear on stage for a song or two? Should they play Nirvana or just stick to a cover?
