Scientists in the UK are apparently hard at work on sex robots that occasionally just aren't in the mood.
The prototype, Sexbot Samantha, has sensors under her skin that allow her to respond to affection like a real human. Those sensors can also detect "aggressive or disrespectful" behaviors, which will make Samantha shut down.
Samantha is expected to go into mass production soon with a $4700 price tag.
Does making a sex robot with "human" emotions seem pointless? Do you think sex robots will be commonplace one day?
