The Foo Fighters are about to storm the United Kingdom for a few dates and opening for them at these shows are bands who they hope will "inspire".
The band's agent, Russell Warby, told Music Week, "with the bigger shows we want to carefully curate an inspiring bill."
Warby says they wanted to pay special attention to "strong female artists and lots of younger artists."
So alongside bands such as Slaves, The Cribs, and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, the female fronted Wolf Alice, Starcrawler and The Kills will be opening for the Foo Fighters.
Is this a good idea? Is opening for a huge band like the Foo Fighters a great way for people to know who the next big stars will be?
