After all these years, one of our most pressing questions about Queen frontman Freddie Mercury has been answered - how did Freddie react the first time he heard Vanilla Ice's Queen-sampling megahit "Ice Ice Baby"?
Mercury's longtime assistant Phoebe Freestone recounted the story in a blog post. She says Freddie was eating breakfast and thought he hearing Queen's "Under Pressure" when he "suddenly stopped, frowning".
She says Mercury began listening intently, then smiled and "said that he couldn't believe what he was hearing... a blatant ripoff." He then called his manager, who told Mercury he was "already on the case". Both Queen and David Bowie ended up sharing songwriting credit for "Ice Ice Baby".
This week, the first trailer was released for Bohemian Rhapsody, the Queen biopic starring Rami Malek as Mercury.
Be honest - which song do you listen to more, "Under Pressure" or "Ice Ice Baby"?
