Scientists think they have a potential cure for baldness

The bane of many a man's existence may finally have a potential cure.

Researchers at the University of Manchester published their findings in the journal PLOS Biology after discovering a drug originally intended to treat osteoporosis stimulated hair growth.

Project leader Dr Nathan Hawkshaw believes it could "make a real difference to people who suffer from hair loss".

A clinical trial will now need to be conducted to see if the treatment will be effective and safe in people.

When did you start losing your hair? Do you try to cover it up or embrace it?
