Some people have all the luck. One lottery winner from North Carolina just got lucky again.
Timothy Kniess won the lottery in October 2017 when his wife won $100,000 on a scratch-off ticket. He ended up buying a helicopter with those winnings.
He crashed that helicopter this week when its tail got caught on a tree branch and it flew out of control, eventually crashing and catching fire. Luckily for Kneiss, he was able to crawl away before it burst into flames.
Authorities said that Kniess wasn’t experienced, and could not find any flying certifications under his name.
Do you know anyone who has been this lucky? What's the luckiest thing that has happened to you?
